I am an Art Director and Designer with over 40 years experience in theatre, television, and film. During that time I have worked on a wide range of productions from low budget independent productions to large scale film and television. I have witnessed and taken part in the transition from analog to digital production.
A number of years ago I began doing digital 3D work for Production Designer Michael Joy on the ABC/Disney Series ONCE UPON A TIME. The work was mostly Concept Art and 3D asset creation within the Art Department. The assets I create were then passed along to the VFX provider for use in their pipeline.
I then decided to take the concept of "Life long learning" to heart and enrolled in the Think Tank Mentorship Program to gain some experience with more "industry standard" tools such as Maya, V-Ray, Painter, Nuke, Premiere, etc. The results of that time can be seen in the Environment Demo Reel on my website.
